House Specialties Menu Selections

Special requests available. The dishes found here were developed by our chef. Most of them came from the chef's love of the ingredients that inspired her. A few of the recipes are variations from other sources. They constantly get rave reviews. These dishes are located on some of our other menu selections as well. Some of the dishes listed here are only available for private chef parties of under twenty people. Click on the food images on the right to see larger pictures.

Blue Cheese & Brie Quesadillas with Apple Walnut Compote
  Apple Walnut Compote really compliments the blue cheese and brie in this luscious quesadilla.
Shrimp Quesadillas with Mango Salsa
  Fontina and Brie Cheeses come together with marinated shrimp. Served with Mango Salsa.
Sweet Potato Tempura Shrimp     1st Place Award Winner!
  Shrimp cooked in our special sweet potato tempura batter. Served with a roasted red pepper chipolte sauce and a roasted tomatillo and jalapeno sauce.
Crab Puffs on Dill Toast
  Crab meat mixed with dill and cream cheese served on toast and heated under the broiler until golden brown. It's crab! How could it not be great?
Stuffed Mushrooms
  Cremini mushrooms marinated in sherry and stuffed with more mushrooms, sausage, herbs and cheese. This can be made in a vegetarian or vegan version as well.
Tri-Tip Bites     1st Place Award Winner!
  Tender tri-tip sliced thin. Rolled with smoked blue cheese crumbles and mushrooms and shallots cooked with cognac, thyme, sage, and garlic.
Roasted Salmon
  Choose between our Maple-Bourbon Glazed Salmon or our Dill Glazed Salmon with a hint of Asian flavor. Either will convert the salmon hater into a salmon lover!
Pork Loin Stuffed with Apple Dressing, Smoked Mozzarella and Proscuto
  Wonderful flavors abound in this pork dish: apples, onions, cranberries in the stuffing are a perfect compliment to the tender pork.
Rosemary Mint Lamb
  Tender lamb marinated in a rosemary-mint pesto.
Filet Mignon Party Steaks     1st Place Award Winner!
  Tender filet mignon seared with a garlic herb blend. Marinated overnight, cooked to perfection and topped with a cognac, red wine, currant and mushroom sauce.
Tri-Tip with Port Wine Reduction
  Tender tri-tip cooked to perfection. Topped with a port wine reduction and blue cheese crumbles.
Brined Turkey or Chicken
  Choose either Turkey or Chicken. We brine our birds in our special house brine and then roast them to golden perfect. Moist and Flavorful!
Savory Tomato Basil Pasta
  Tomatoes and Basil cooked with Roasted Onions and Garlic, making a light sauce for the perfectly prepared spaghetti pasta.
Smoked Mushroom Ravioli Al Forno
  Handmade ravioli stuffed with delicately smoked mushrooms and cheese served in a creamy Alfredo sauce. Baked until golden brown.
Spinach/Artichoke Lasagne with Roasted Tomatoes and Onions
  This lasagne has great flavor with spinach, artichokes, cheese and roasted tomatoes and onions. Add meat if you must.
"Two-Helpings" Meatloaf
  Meatloaf that is moist and full of flavor. Everyone always goes back for seconds!
Roasted Garlic Mashed Potatoes
  Not your ordinary "garlic" potatoes! Roasted garlic, heavy cream and butter make these potatoes decidant.
Twice Baked Potato Casserole
  Our mashed potatoes go a step further with added flavors of onion, sour cream, bacon and Parmesan cheese and topped with 2 year old white cheddar cheese.
Roasted Ratatouille Risotto
  Roasted egg plant, zuchinni, yellow squash, mushrooms, onions, fennel and garlic cooked in a fire roasted tomato sauce and stock. Topped with parmasian cheese.
Rosemary Scented Potato Apple Packets
  Potatoes, apples and rosemary caramelized with a roasted onion and garlic jam and butter. Wrapped in puff pastery and baked until golden brown.
Mango or Fired Roasted Tomato Black Bean Salsa over Rice
  Mangos or fired roasted tomatoes and black beans really come together for a taste explosion. Served over white rice.
Santa Maria Style Tri-Tip Sandwich     1st Place Award Winner!
  Tri-Tip rubbed with our Santa Maria style rub and cooked to perfection. These sandwiches are made with our Roasted Garlic, Cream Cheese, Horseradish Spread and topped with Sauteed Mushrooms and Shallots.
Roast Beef Sandwich with Dill/Cream Cheese and Cucumber
  Thinly sliced roast beef and cucumbers served on sourdough bread with our wonderful dill cream cheese spread and mayonaise.
Turkey Sandwich with Cranberry/Horseradish Compote
  Thin sliced turkey piled high served on sourdough bread with our Cranberry/Horseradish Compote and mayonaise.
Asian Chicken Salad
  Light and refreshing with our own special salad dressing, this salad includes mandarin oranges, almonds, and fried wontons.
Peanut Slaw
  A mix of cabbages, carrots and cilantro with peanuts and our special vinaigrette.
Spring Mixed Green Salad with Dried Cranberries, Blue Cheese and Candied Pecans
  Our special dressing of vanilla-fig balsamic and dijon mustard makes this salad different than any other. The dressing perfectly compliments the candied pecans, blue cheese and the sweetness of the dried cranberries. If you don't like cranberries, we can do this with julienned apples or pears instead.
Mediterranean Cucumber, Fennel & Tomato Salad with Oregano & Feta Cheese
  Cucumbers, tomatoes with thinly sliced fennel or topped with fresh oregano, feta cheese and our special Mediterranean vinaigrette.

Instead of giving you cookie cutter menus, we like to work with you to develop menus that "cater to your needs". The menu choices are only "suggested" samples.
